Repair clamp seals suitable for both Iron & Plastic pipes
Available in both metric & Imperial sizes

Some pipe systems do not have their own integral connection method, relying instead on generally available fittings. At VIP-Polymers we manufacture seals for pipe couplings and pipe repairs to match many of these fittings from the smallest to the largest diameters. We manufacture seals for fittings that are used for repairs and pipe jointing to both ductile iron and plastic pipelines.

Our valve seat rings for butterfly valves are engineered to extremely tight dimensional standards.

We manufacture a wide range of custom moulded sealing rings for pipe couplings, the sizes of which are only restricted by the size of the couplings.

Corrugasket®: For Quality, Security and Precision

Corrugaskets
(301kb)

Their unique corrugated surface design and excellent sealing properties make them suitable for use with a number of different standard pressure classes for water, gas and process industry applications. Corrugasket® is a unique and comprehensive range of precision moulded Flange Gaskets for pipes, fittings, pumps and valves.

Gaskets are offered in three basic designs suitable for use with different standard pressure ratings for drinking water, drainage, sewage, gas and process industry applications.

The Corrugasket's unique design gives it several technical advantages:

Concentric Corrugations:

The concentric corrugations across the Corrugasket's surface act as separate sealing planes to compensate for any defects in the flange, whether through corrosion, scores or even unmachined surfaces.

Dimensional Accuracy:

Each Corrugasket® is dimensionally accurate. Unlike cut or stamped gaskets, size and thickness do not vary since the gasket exactly reproduces the precise tolerances of the moulding tool.

Maximum sealing efficiency with minimum compression:

The Corrugasket's corrugated surface not only gives exceptional sealing efficiency, it also reduces significantly the bolt-torque required to achieve an effective and long-term seal. This in turn leads to reduced compression on the gasket and to the increased life of the complete flange assembly.

Standards:

Corrugasket® meets all the EU Water and Gas Authorities latest specifications.

The European Standard EN681-1 (Elastomeric seals - Material requirements for pipe joint seals used in water and drainage applications) sets the specification for elastomeric seals for joints in pipework and pipe-lines. Corrugasket® for Water applications not only meets the drainage and drinking water sections of this Standard, but in many areas exceeds the minimum requirement stipulated.

For Gas applications, VIP-Polymers nitrile compound gasket complies with EN682 (Elastomeric seals - Materials requirements for seals used in pipes and fittings carrying gas and hydrocarbon fluids). This gasket meets the requirements of the British Gas Specification BGC/PS/LC6, which sets out the physical properties and quality requirements for gaskets used in gas applications.
