VIP-Polymers have worked closely with a number of prominent concrete pipe manufacturers to develop a wide range of sealing systems.
Seals used in concrete pipe applications are usually a basic seal design taking the form of a simple 'O-Ring' or peak ring configuration. Over the past decade however, seals used in concrete pipe applications have become more sophisticated and VIP-Polymers has worked closely with concrete pipe manufacturers in developing seals specifically to meet their market requirements.
In particular VIP-Polymers has been at the forefront in developing seals for jacking pipe applications, where the seal has to withstand arduous conditions of the pipe jacking process whilst maintaining an effective, efficient seal.
